About
Dealls is SejutaCita rebranded — the same company I interned at as a frontend developer in 2020, and a Y Combinator W22 alum. I worked on its backend as a microservices estate rather than a single application: maintaining and extending existing services so they kept scaling to tens of thousands of users, on ExpressJS with MongoDB, PostgreSQL and Redis.
The main new build was the job portal service, including a first-pass recommendation system for matching candidates to postings, and a separate blog service on Strapi. Background and scheduled work ran through BullMQ, which kept the heavier jobs off the request path.
A short engagement, and the second of the two Y Combinator companies I have worked at.
